Hello, Mr. Khachik, I love your photos, especially the ones you took of this fella.
Please could I paint this...I will send you a copy right away when I'm done. Heidi

While Mr. Khachik may have given permission for Heidi to paint this image,
he confirms that he never gave permission for her to SELL it.

It has come to light that she painted two versions of this image. Both were listed for sale
for $175.00 each, and later the prices were reduced to $125.00 each.

Mr. Khachik, giving permission to paint your image is NOT the same thing as giving permission to sell your image. There is a large difference. One is for personal use, one is for financial gain. Heidi was selling this image on her website. If you did not give permission for this specific use, then that is copyright theft.

well, now that I know that she did a real painting out of it, I could then say she did a nice job.
about selling them that is an another discussion.

OK, now I see... she did a real panting! I though it's just a Digital art but all it's done with Oil on canvas! .... NO COMMENT!!!!!

WOW!
That's right, she asked me if she can paint my image and I gave her the permission, but she didn't tell me that she is going to sell that! So I didn't gave her the permission to sell.
I am not sure if she sold that (or even any of her "WORK") image ever since it is terribly done painting effect and my shot by itself is not that well since I was and am still a newbie ... anyway.

Now the question is, if she has automatically the permission to sell that "painting" since I gave her the permission to paint?

Thanks for informing me.
