Egypt

taken again from the van..
i chose this poem because it made me think about both walls.. the seen and the unseen..

How harsh is the wall
When it rises in the face of the sunrise
Perhaps we spend a whole lifetime to bore a gap
For the light to pass to generations, only once.
Perhaps if there were not this wall
We would not know the value of light unrestrained.

I like a lot this image Silvia and it reminds me on the time I spent in Kairo many years ago and especially I remember the many lovely children always waving to me and smile - two generations - a story telling shot - wonderful! BV

a delightful scene of two children who have not yet built those walls in their innocent minds...they intuitively head for the light...V

Two figures smile and two turn away. A touching moment, well seen with an appropriate poem. "V"
