As you can see here the road is not much to talk about when you reach the highland. This is just a typical road over the highland of Iceland and this road is coming from Eyjafjörður on the north coast of Iceland and
if you continue for long enough you will end on a much better road on the south part of Iceland. In the background you can see the glacier Hofsjökull which is just about in the middle of Iceland.
