The Wildsee is to the south of Seefeld“s pedestrian centre and is a favourite spot for visitors to walk, swim or sunbathe. Although the lake itself is not protected, it is bordered to the south by the Reither Moor conservation area and to the west by the steep slope of the Gshwandt woods.
This has meant that development around the lake has been limited and preserved much of its attractive atmosphere. A walk around the lake takes about 45 minutes.
