Today I celebrate nurses who have attained certification in their specialty.
This selfie looks back to when I graduated and received my RN.
I was so proud but years later, I was especially proud to receive my CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)... certification in the field of nursing that I loved.
I spent 45 years at the bedside and it was the best choice I ever made in life.

I applaud all the nurses who have attained their certification and all nurses who work so hard on a daily basis.
Your skills will always be in demand and how fortunate we are to have such flexibility to choose amongst so many specialties in our field!
