I traveled in February 2011 and first arrived in Paris and prayed at the Immaculate Conception Church with 2 incorrupt saints St. Catherine and St. Louise de Marrilac. 3 blocks away St. Vincent de Paul lies incorrupt above the alter in a church on rue de sevres, the sisters at Immacuate Coception told me how to walk there(one sister spoke in 7 languages). I went by train from Paris (about 3 hour ride) to Nevers where I was able to Pray at the communion rail where a few feet away St. Bernadette lies incorrupt. I was able to attend a daily noon mass in French.To be in the church here she prayed daily and walk the grounds is really special. The day was wonderful. I ate a few blocks away at a delicous restaurant and walked and saw several churches in the area one built in 12th century. The best was then to be able to go by car to Lourdes. It is so hope-filled to just be there is so uplifting to our souls. I could never picture how large it was.France is rich with a history of Holy men and Women. Some I had not previously known,like St. Etienne. Many churches are named after him. I loved the way I was so graciously treated by all. You will be so happy to be able to go. God send you soon.

I have always felt close to Bernadette, and have read many books about her. I am wondering if there are any of Bernadette's family relatives living today. I would like to know, so please send me an e-mail if you know or lead me to where I can find out.
I visited Lourdes with my daughter while she was a college student in Madrid. What a joy to be at the location where the Virgin Mary came to earth to speak to Bernadette. I have some holy water from the Grotto. When my daughter's precious cat was diagnosed with bone cancer, we placed some Holy Water on her and prayed to God for her health to return. The diagnosis was overturned 6 months later, and she lived a healthy life for many more years. We praise God for that wonderful healing.
