I'm not good at puns, shall stick to my simple words :-) It's a rather melancholy scene. The color reminded me of a sunset but it's not in a beautiful way. As if it marks the end of the bike, its downcycle. And as if it's helplessly looking at its type lying lifeless on the floor. Perhaps I should look at it more postively. A golden time yet to come as it may be getting a new type change and be revived the next day :-)

Fantastic. Love the tire tube lying off to the side and the golden light. Superb.

Seems to be busy in here... (just by reading at the coments)
Kal.... Been keeping an eye everytime you share a new photo. I will get some of your style as an influence, not saying I will copy it... Just borrow some ideas and see how they work.... Let's see how it goes and I will share it with you and Phil.

Unfortunatley... At this time im not in a big city such as Shanghai, but I have a dream photo... Addind some of your style with street stories and as a background, a city as a whole.. Will be difficult to find the vantage point to cover it.
Just imagine... skyrises, heavy traffic roads and then... a single person.

Ill be around checking at your work... Happy to see Shanghai photos pretty often ^_^

Just back to the original topic...
Love how Kal's humour counterbalances the undoubtable sadness of the subject...

hey! I was just the one who spoke up first

Jude is responsible for this chain of bad puns. She should be locked up.

sigh ... I didn't mean to get others to comment in tandem.

Hmm...You need to get a grip of the handlebar on this situation Pete. I really must insist that you stop pedalling this behaviour around pbase ;-)k
Guest 13-Dec-2006 14:30
Jude, you spoke too soon. Its a vicious cycle.
Guest 13-Dec-2006 13:50
LOL! what a find!
Love the gold and the shadows too.

I was going to say "maybe it's more exhausted than tired." but I'm not starting that stuff again..LOL
