Remnants of Katrina

New Orleans West End

If only this fabric could talk. I have looked at it for a year now and have conjured up many stories about it. It is a woman's housecoat wrapped around a piling that once supported a seafood restaurant on Lake Pontchartrain. The pelicans are attracted to it.

The housecoat makes a sad tale, that this was once a restaurant is an even more powerful sad story.

Hmmmm.... a sad story for sure.

I suspect the story would be quite sad :(

Hmm... a housecoat! Like the story. I was thinking a blanket or bed spread, much less interesting! I have a couple of these I am working now. Would like to see more of yours if you have them.
