The long "wall" in the background is the locks of the Bonnet Carre' Spillway.

Lovely tree... this one is near the river, so how does it cope with flooding... not so badly it seems!

It looks like it gets plenty of water.

That one's been around a while. Oak trees may not provide the prettiest fall foilage but I love them for their grandness just the same. Wonderful capture and reflection.

Beautiful oak!

I like the balance here between the layer of sky and the water with the tree present in both. The sky is amazingly flat, monochromatic, and the tree is strikingly dark.

It's a good thing they like wet feet...nice comp here Coleen. That spillway is gigantic isn't it.

A pleasant picture, it's good to see the tree didn't get too damaged during the construction of the spillway.

Beautiful lone Live Oak! I really like the alternate. Beautiful color combination in that composition!

Beautiful tree & reflections! Is that a bridge in the background?

One of the ones in good condition, I presume? Nice shot - I like the fence/wall behind and the perspective it gives. Chris

A beautiful shape, standing out there all by itself.
