Today must be my day for noticing people's hands. I was watching the musicians' hands as they played at the German Coast Farmers Market. Then, as I went around to the various stalls I looked at the hands of the farmers who toil to grow the produce for the market.

And, those are Creole tomatoes, a tomato grown in the alluvial soil of the Mississippi and available for only a few weeks each spring.
