I am pleased to say that I wrote the legislation for the Bird Sanctuary and it was approved by the Jefferson Parish Council in 1974. It was sponsored by Bissonet Garden Club of which I was president.
Coleen Perilloux Landry retains the international copyright not only for the original image but also for any versions of it.
