Bald Eagle - Moss for lining the nest

I was shooting almost directly into the sun and she is 60 feet in the air with no other angle to choose.

Spanish moss matress are great for birds. I sure she wlll love the the softness. I thought they made a cruching noise every time you rolled over.

That is such an interesting shot,Coleen. I had not realised that such a big bird would line their nest with moss - I rather assumed they would only use small twigs!:>)
