Almost Springtime in the Swamp

The sawgrass is greening up, the pis-en-lit flowers are blooming and the swamp maples are wearing their red costumes. The alligators are coming out of hibernation and looking for a meal.

Swamps seem so alive to me. The entire northwest portion of Ohio was once swamp but was drained to make fertile farmland. I love the life you bring us from your swamps with your camera.
