The scene is set for the annual "Christmas in the Oaks". This is a scene with the schools' Christmas trees. There are over 90 trees on display from schools in the metropolitan New Orleans area.
The event is open every night beginning the night after Thanksgiving until December 30th.
In 2008 there were 300,000 visitors to see the Lights.
