According to my photographic documents of the gauge at the Spillway, the River has risen a foot since Sunday afternoon to today at 7 p.m. River on the left and spillway on the right. The Spillway structure has the cranes ready to pull the pins if the gauge gets too high in New Orleans.
The River Road through the Spillway was closed today by the Corps because of water covering the road in a few spots (right where the sun's rays hit), causing a great inconvenience to get from Montz to Norco or Norco to Montz.
