The Administration Building, center, was topped with the Cross from the Cabrini Church that once stood on these grounds and was flooded in Katrina.
All of the buildings have many characteristics and symbols of the old school.
Behind these buildings, students are attending classes in mobile classrooms and sitting and playing under the live oaks. It is hoped that classes in the new buildings will begin in the fall of 2009.
