I gave PBaser Scott Schexnaydre a tour through the Lower Ninth Ward today and he was shaken by the destruction three years later. Barely any activity has occurred here since Katrina except that most of the debris has been cleaned up. Where all the houses once stood the grass is as high as an elephant's eye. I do not think this area will ever be inhabited again.
