Sunset Beach

Oahu, North Shore

Don't know that this is actually Sunset Beach, but it is going towards Haleiwa, is all I can remember. We were searching to find the turtles which others had told us come out at sunset near here, but no such luck on this evening. We did see a small one bobbing out a little way, but it must have come in elsewhere.

A little ticked at myself for getting the horizon a little tilted and almost cutting the 2nd dog off, so if I straighten the image, then he is cut off. Not paying attention while getting the action.

Great timing on this. That is quite a jump. Fabulous color and light. When we were we found the turtles, but that is because I wasn't looking for them. ~BV~

Whoa, that pup is getting some serious air! Great light on everyone. Action shots of dogs are tough for sure! V

It is luminous and I think the horizon, like David said, is unimportant in context... Vvv

I also never noticed the horizon. Your subject is so fun and dynamic. Love it! Too bad about the turtles though...

sharp shooting at an electric moment...the marginally askew horizon is unimportant in light of the strongly resonant image....bravo Carol..
