Derek,

Great image as most everything you post. I love the vantage of this from that little ledge. Add the fall colors and this is nothing short of perfect.

such a beautiful location

I like this image the most from all of them. If you had just a little wider angle to get just the top of the falls It might have been better...but it is absolutly amazing as it is.

Among the pictures in this gallery, this is the best. The slow shutter speed of 1S used was just right. Whether or not this shot was the best of the +/- 3 compensated shots or a bracket of 3, still this is truly a wonderful and awesome sight to see what with the waterfall and brownish rock on the background, a well contoured island with upright trees on the center, and the cascading waters in the foreground. This is what makes the shooting angle and composition absolutely perfect! Derek knows his photography. And that's the bottom line.

My jaw just dropped. Fantastic image from a fantasy gallery. The gold-lit tree is positioned very well. Great image.

This really is a little masterpiece from paradise. It has to be one of the best balanced captures I've viewed. A perfect example of yin-yang in composition, color and dynamic. g

My favorite by far. Love the light in the leaves.

This is outstanding with the 3 dimensional aspect brought about by the increasing sharpness and the lighted tree.

One of my favorites of the series! Love the composition here of the cluster of yellow trees. Another vote...
