Robin Eating Honeysuckle Berries

Richboro, PA

In late June each year this Honeysuckle Hedge has thousands of red berries.
The berries are there for about 3 weeks, but the birds do not bother them.
On nearly the same day each year Robins, Catbirds, Ceder Waxwings and even Hummingbirds start feasting on the berries.
I'm not sure if the Hummingbirds eat the berries or are just drawn to the color.
In a very brief 2 or 3 days nearly every berry will disappear.
It's a show I enjoy each year.
