This is Typhoon Kit about three days after the previous picture was taken. We are now about 35 miles south of Cheju Island, just off the southern tip of Korea. This is a good example of what a storm looks like just before it dies. There is no real eyewall to speak of, just the harmless scud you see in the background. You can see some interesting swirls, leading to the center of the storm (where the wing is pointing). |
