View from Within

Roof open with C14 draped for shut-down. Note white light and red rope lights. The roof opening yields some 45 degrees access (3 hours) on either side of the meridian. Haze and excessive light pollution normally make it impractical to try imaging further down. But in retrospect, the roof could have been a foot lower, thus affording some extra set-up time in preparation for imaging as objects come up over the eastern horizon. My plan is to use this location for training myself in imaging faint fuzzies (for when I transport to a dark site) and for imaging the planets using a webcam.
