Hi there, thank you so much for posting all these wonderful pictures. they remind me of my home village in Taichen. I came to the States when I was 16 yrs. these pictures have a lot of meaning to me and I deem them very valuable! its been 26 yrs, almost to the exact date when my family first touched down in New York's JFK. Seeing these wonderful pictures really has a strong urge in me that I need to go back and visit Taishan really for the first time since I left that area. As for me, I spent a number of years in NY before I settled here in the San Francisco Bay Area with my young family; although my parents are still living in BKLYN, NY. I come back to visit them from time to time.
