Oh, no no no, it was too cold always
(Still the dead one lay moaning)
I was much too far out all my life
And not waving but drowning.

(from 'Not Waving But Drowning' by Philip Larkin)

This is one of the more powerful works I've seen anywhere. Incredible. The ambiguity of the dark hair, the hands reaching out of, or from...or to. The paradox of all. and the humanity.

The bathtub and water suggest refuge, a return to the womb. The bare back emerging from the water expresses vulnerability. The abstract pose challenges the viewer to make of it what they wish. For me, you seem to be saying there is no place left to hide. To survive, we must turn and face our demons, rather than hide from them.

The hands and mind of an artist.
The heart and soul of an angel.

I get the feeling you're being eaten alive ... what looks to be fog on the bottom half is devouring the other half.. excellent addition to the gallery.
