Significant rain earlier made the grass very boggy

Too boggy as it turns out for a large aircraft. Wheels up to rims in mud

Bugger. No flying anyway since the cross wind on display day gusted up to 90km/h

I came specifically to see & hear Connie on a low level pass with 4 radial 3350 cubic inch engines providing the motion

Such an elegant looking aircraft - I will be there next May !!!
UPDATE: 2015 cancelled due to heavy rain and storms. 2016 then !!! Third time lucky ...
