Red sky in the morning was fair warning of the coming cold-front. Nassau Harbor was three hours off our bow when this shot was taken. This was the end of a long night crossing the Great Bahama Bank. We had spent the previous day crossing the Gulfstream in the Atlantic Ocean. Arriving Nassau, Bahamas, completed a 26-hour crossing from Miami, Florida. Just ahead of us were Don and Mary aboard Dark and Stormy. We made Nassau Harbor, and cleared customs, just an hour or so before very heavy weather pounded the area.
