The next port was beautiful Mykonos island in the Cyclades. We arrived before 7 and I got on the first tender boat for the short ride to Mykonos Town. We had been here before, so Howard chose to stay on the ship and enjoy trivia, golf putting, and other activities. I walked down the waterfront to see the maze of cobblestone streets with some parts being painted white; I had to watch my step! I guess with the very reliable sun, by 10 they're dry! After taking pictures of churches, shops, restaurants and homes, I took an inexpensive van ride to see the Armenistis lighthouse & other sights outside town. Seeing the lighthouse was the highlight, with the rest being unremarkable. Back in town after a quick lamb skewer & a near miss in backing up into a freshly painted but unmarked door jamb, I continued my exploration of beautiful Mykonos.
