Hayden Valley

This young bear and its mother were foraging and playing in the sage covered hills of Hayden Valley. As the cub was so large, it was thought to be a two year old. At one point the cub lost sight of its mother and ran all over the hillside looking for her. Once it found her the two wrestled like children. It was such a privilege to be able to watch the sow and baby playing seemingly without a care in the world. The morning sun put a warm rich glow on them.
