M104 - The Sombrero Galaxy

The Sombrero galaxy, M104, is viewed from just above its equatorial plane, outlined by a prominent dark rim of obscuring dust. The central bulge of this galaxy is unusually bright and extended, and the system shines from a distance of 50 million light years.
Also, many of the galaxy's globular clusters are visible scattered around the bulge.
