The orginal birds where much smaller than what is used today. Even smaller than the "Sharp Shooter Birds". May I remind you that these birds are placed on the fork...being 110 ft. to the King Bird.
The small birds where used up until the late 60's early 70's...then replaced with the birds we now use.
