The trek begins at the massive Parkview Condominium and ends at Quarry Bay via Jardine’s Lookout.
Located in the east of Hong Kong Island, this 6.6-km walk (Stage 2 of Wilson Trail) is one of the most accessible hiking trails in the city. The hike starts at Wong Nai Chung Gap and finishes at Quarry Bay Market. You will hike up Jardine’s Lookout (433 m) and Siu Ma Shan where you can enjoy spectacular view of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Trail Stage 5: Jardine's Lookout and Mount Butler
Start: Parkview (These are a large group of serviced apartment buildings - the only buildings in the area - Taxi drivers usually know this name) on Wong Nai Chung Gap Road - Taxi from/to Causeway Bay costs around $50
End: It officially ends at the base of Mt Butler in the middle of the park. You can exit by either doing stage 6 or turning left and walking down that road for 40 mins to Quarry Bay or North Point MTR

Hong Kong Trail Stage 6: Mount Butler to South of Tai Tam Reservoirs
Start: Can walk up from North Point via Braemar Hill or Quarry Bay MTR or precede by stage 5
End: You can catch a bus on Tai Tam road to Stanley and/or to Central or Shau Kei Wan MTR.
Time: 1 hour
Difficulty: Easy. Downhill all the way. Mostly on road (no cars) except for the last 20 mins which are on trail.
