Know that in her mind, she knew all that you loved. She never left you, just went to another place. I know that she remembers, your touch, your feel, and your smile. Embrace the knowledge that she was with you, and feel the peace that she has today. Sleep well this night, knowing she will never be forgotten. Her memories will always be of you.....I grieve of your loss and know your compassion, through your grieving and this site she will be remembered as you know her...as a mother, a grandmother and as a wife she will forever be in your life.....do not grieve for the loss of what is, but relish the joy of who she was. Let me not to the marriage of true minds admitte impediments.Love is not love the alters where it alteration finds nor bends with the remover to remove.O No tis an ever fixed mark that looks upon tempests and is never shaken.Tis the star to every wandering bark whos worths unknown although its height be taken.Loves not times fool though rosy lips and cheeks within its bending sickles compass come.Love alters not with its verief hours and weeks but bears it out even to the edge of doom.If this be error and upon me proved I never writ nor no man ever loved.You wife is an ever fixed Mark ! I am very sorry to learn of this, Bob. My mum died after having Alzheimers at 85, but to have to suffer this loss forty years earlier is cruel and devastating. I feel it is important that you have created this for her, for you and your family.

I can't imagine the devastation of early onset Alzheimer's. My dad has Alzheimer's and he's 71. My mom is still able to care for him at home. I'm so sorry for your loss, Bob. It's a blessing to have your daughter and her family with you. This is a lovely tribute to your wife.
