The sand here is a very fine pink sand. I would have to say that this is probably the finest beach to which I have ever been. This was at the Club Med which is now closed.

Most buildings of Club Med Eleuthera were destroyed by Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and there's no more Club Med on this island. Yet, its beach - just across from Governor's Harbour - is just as attractive as it ever was. And believe me, of all the beaches in Central Eleuthera, Club Med beach is certainly the best.

Five years after a storm had damaged Club Med Eleuthera, all its old buildings were taken down in the Summer of 2004.
