This is a health clinic in San Cristóbal where you could go if you needed to see a doctor. In
Spain, there is socialized medicine. That means that all Spanish citizens and people who work
in Spain get health care from the government. If they are sick they simply go to the doctor
without worrying about the bills. While this is good for Spaniards it made it difficult for us as
Americans studying in Spain because if we got sick we had to go to a special English speaking
doctor that we had to pay ourselves. Of course if we had to go to the hospital we still could.
