This image was taken back in 2006, but the more I look at it the more I enjoy it. Having shot for a few hours on this beach during the 'golden hour' and sunset (see 7th image in the gallery), this image was taken well after sunset, when the rich warm colours were evident.

A 2 Stop Gradual Neutral Desnisty Filter was used to prevent the sky from burning out (in the red channel!)

Cape Naturaliste is a headland north of Margerate's River in West Australia - one of the most beautiful temperate places in the world.

No post processing except dust removal and a curve tweak.
