Mystery Death

This was strange. This juvenile wild hog was killed sometime between the first time Buz & I passed this field and 35~45 minutes later when we passed it again. I'm not sure whether a bear got it or maybe a pack of coyotes but I'm leaning towards the bear

It seems that if a bear killed it, it would have packed it off and eaten it.

But not eaten? Spooky... did you look over your shoulders in case the attacker was still in the vicinity? I'm sure I would have high-tailed it out of there. :)
