Rock Platform

This is part of the rock platform at the base of Elephant Rock Point.
Walking onto this beach was like walking on to the surface of another planet. The rock formations were incredible.
Erosion of the sandstone rock laced with coal, and fossils created different patterned sections that resembled hardened lava.
The geology around here is so fascinating that it’s hard to describe.
Flat rock replaces sand, and the cliffs are spectacular.
