Those 4 or 6 invisable auto-focus points seem to be working well, (only active in AI-servo, and placed all around your center point). You probably already know this, but for others you are looking. I have an eos 1d Mark II, which has 45 points of autofocus, but when shooting sports, most people just use the center point, but there's a custom function where i can enable the center 5 point to do the same effect as what the 30d does. I think that is an excellent feature, and worth upgrade if your a big sports shooter. Great action image!
