This N&W bridge identification marker stands at the north end of the Roanoke River bridge just south of downtown Roanoke. It identifies the structure as Bridge 1807 according to the N&W Engineering Department. The bridge number can also be seen faintly on the concrete abutment just behind the marker. This is only the second bridge identification marker that still stands on an active line that the photographer is aware of.
