3 of 4 Black Bellied Whistling Ducks - Rye River

These ducks were still under-exposed even with a +3 stop bias....as I was pointing straight up into a bright sky. Shooting RAW saved this shot. Wiped out the sky, but I kind of like the stark nature of the result.

While looking for ducks, came across this stunning photo.
The birds are strange and magnificent but your composition and the bleached-out effect is wonderful.
It may have been taken in Florida, but to me it has the look of aChinese painting.
