As spectacular as the 2008 fire season began, I can't show for much, since the landscape soon became very murky.

All those lightning strikes, and all those small fires........

Taken on Day 2, this one just took off from the get go, while other fires would wait for their day.
On the Plumas NF....a dozen miles to my North.
Unfortunately, this fire, and soon others to come, dominated much of my poor visibility for the weeks to come.
