Balanced Rock is about the size of three school buses. There used to be a similar, smaller rock nearby called "Chip off the Old Block", but it fell about forty years ago. Balanced Rock is one of the most popular spots in the park; not only is it an intriguing rock, it is also very accessible (can easily be seen from the road).
