After dinner at our campsite we took a short walk on the River Trail and crossed the Silver Bridge, which connects with the Bright Angel Trail. This bridge is limited to foot traffic only and supports the transcanyon pipeline. This pipeline pipes water from Roaring Springs 4000 feet below the North Rim, through Phantom Ranch, and up to the South Rim via the pump house at Indian Garden.
