An antique Tibetan tsakli painting, 19th Century or earlier (much earlier) depicting, within a red centred saffron nimbus, a wrathful blue bodied deity, his flying hair held back by a red 3 pointed diadem, his mouth agape beneath glaring eyes. He has red eyebrows, beard and moustaches, and circular earrings, a bone necklet and necklaces which hangs to his 'lobed' flabby belly, and a tiger skin dhoti. His celestial scarf swirls about him as he holds aloft in his right hand his attribute - the dorje, his hand in tarjani mudra while his left holds a bell. 9.8 x 12 cm
