An antique 19th Century tsakli painting in mineral pigments depicting, surrounded by a verdant ,watery, mountainous landscape and within a blazing, elongated red nimbus and a green mandorla, a smiling, white bodied deity with a 'flabby' belly arising from behind an outcrop.
The deity with a high chignon behind a 5 pointed crown and hair spilling down over his shoulders has heavy circular earrings, bodhisattva ornaments and a multi-layered, multicoloured dhoti and flowing celestial scarf . He holds reverently with both hands, a red jewel topped bhumpa filled with the precious elixir.
