An antique, 19th Century tsakli painting in mineral pigments and gold depicting Jhambala (Kubera) the god of wealth, holding a flaming jewel in one hand, the other hand holding his jewel-spitting mongoose. The green bodied deity wearing a multi layered, multi coloured dhoti and celestial scarf is leaning against what appears to be a large, double layered bag of gold... Many jewels are scattered throughout his celestial scarf and on the ground around the base of his lotus throne.
