the bath to rinse off the muddy tummy and paws, and the de-burr brushing was
not quite so much fun...

Oh Pooch, the baths and the brushing are just to keep you looking as fine as you do. A small price to pay for all the outdoor fun, no? :-)

Looks like a great place to get muddy. Pooch is definitely saying, 'come on, put that darn camera away and let's go!' Great picture.
