Born in Compostela, in the Province of Compostela Valley, Jerson is the only
child of Mr. Samuel Adame Paican (origin: Valencia, Bohol) and Mrs. Flora Gunzon-Paican (San Carlos, Negros Occidental).

He is fondly called 'Pikes' by his buddies and campus friends a shortened form his family name.
Pikes graduated his Elementary education from Compostela SDA Elementary School and finished high school in
Northern Davao Academy in Mawab in the same province. He finished his college education from Mountain View College in
Valencia, Bukidnon with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

After college, Pikes worked for Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital and its college in Iligan City for seven (7) years.
In 2007, he was then transferred to the SDA Regional Headquarters in Silang, Cavite where he until recently serves as one of the
support personnel for the financial software being used by the Seventh-day Adventists institutions.

Pikes loves hiking, photography, and mountain biking.

Pikes' parents is presently living in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.
