It was dusk and the light was disappearing fast. I am about 5 or more miles North of Lillooet standing on the steep bank of the Fraser River far below. Black Bears are providing a "photo op" by foraging for berries on the opposite shore but they are too distant. Suddenly a Bald eagle appears out of no-where, flying high above but peering intently at the water below in what may have been its' final Salmon hunt of the evening.
