Smith Park is the oldest park in Oak Harbor. It is adjacent to the old downtown and overlooks the bay (obscured by fog). The gnarled oak trees are the largest remaining stand of native oaks in the region. More about the oaks here: https://ohgarryoaksociety.org/.

a small oak forest to delight...somehow they seem a tad frantic in their quest for life, and that imparts a strong sense of vibrancy...super comp to land on this particular view..

Great with these tones and soft lighting. I like the look of the twisted trees. "V"
